The piece Television Signal (One Minute) deconstructs a digital television signal into its informational components, the source code. The complete audio- visual information contained within a one-minute television recording is archived in a continuous binary code consisting of over half a billion characters. Printed as 60 bound volumes with a total of 48,000 pages, the piece makes visible the wealth of information a single television station broadcasts as radio waves in the span of 60 seconds.
